Most important changes of the 2025 Tiguan:

The 2025 Tiguan R-Line features significant improvements to its exterior and interior design. Begin with the front fascia. you’ll immediately see a bolder and more aggressive grille that flows perfectly into the LED projector headlamps, with the trending connected LED daytime running light (DRL) strip.

On the subject of its name, did you ever think about the origin of “Tiguan”? It’s smart, combining the terms “tiger” and “iguana,” hoping to capture the agility and strength of the former with the versatility of the latter. The former looks like the front bolder grilles whereas later the car now receives the adaptive damping which can operate on any surface

The car certainly makes a more imposing and solid presence on the road. But will this translate into high appeal among the discerning Indian market? Let’s see further into the details of what the R-Line has to offer.

The Tiguan R-Line showcases a strong image with its wide 19-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. While the overall height and wheelbase are the same. The R-Line’s distinctive styling cues unmistakably project a more grounded and sportier stance. Glanced at from the side, some may even compare it to the design language of the BMW X5, a nod to their common German motor culture.

The rear side of the Tiguan R-Line also looks quite different, with revamped LED taillights. Surprisingly, these LED taillights bear a design resemblance to those of the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara. The lights are connected LED taillights ( to be honest, i don’t like these flashy lights ).

Technology

The 2025 Tiguan R-Line opens up to a much-enhanced interior that expertly combines sporty styling themes with a dash of premium refinement. You have the 15-inch touchscreen infotainment screen with Android Auto/Apple CarPlay. Massage functions on the front seats, plus a configurable ambient lighting system. Gear knob has been replaced by a steering column-mounted selector stalk. yes, similar to Mercedes-Benz. All-digital and upgraded digital cockpit. You also receive the Adas suite. And yes, the car is equipped with a panoramic sunroof, but here you get swipe-up buttons like in EQs. The lighting is the IQ light, which adjusts as per the environment. Powerterrain

New Tiguan R-Line offers the 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol motor. But it now has a bit more power, producing a healthy 201 bhp and 300 Nm of torque. Coupled with 7 7-speed DSG gearbox with the 4MOTION all-wheel-drive system.

we know that the Tiguan R-Line will be available as a Completely Built-Up (CBU) model and will come in one fully loaded trim. Which I think is a bit overpriced as some features have been skipped like 360 camera, headsup display, electric seats. Which were present in the previous gen
