Suzuki Vitara Brezza : Overview

Maruti Suzuki has recently launched the highly anticipated, all-new Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, and we couldn’t wait to delve into what this exciting offering brings to the table.

Today, we’ll not only unveil the Maruti Suzuki Brezza configurations available but also share our comprehensive opinion on the matter. The new Maruti Suzuki Brezza is available in four distinct variants: LXI, VXI, ZXI, and ZXI Plus. But that’s not all; each of these variants comes in both manual and automatic transmission options, providing a variety of choices to cater to diverse preferences.

Suzuki Vitara Brezza : Exteriors

For those who crave an extra dose of style, the ZXI and ZXI Plus variants go the extra mile by offering dual-tone exteriors. This option not only adds a touch of sophistication but also allows you to make a bold statement on the road.

Now, let’s dive into our firsthand experience with the ZXI DT (Dual Tone) variant equipped with a manual transmission. Buckle up as we share our insights and opinions on this exceptional vehicle.

Sporty Side Profile:

The exterior of the new Maruti Suzuki Brezza has been revamped to turn heads. The front fascia showcases powerful dual LED projector headlamps complemented by sleek LED DRLs. The redesigned grilles, adorned with chrome accents, create a bolder and more captivating look. Lower down, you’ll notice stylish grey skid plates. While fog lamps weren’t present on our variant, it’s possible they’re available on higher trims, such as the ZXI Plus, which also boasts a 360-degree camera setup.

On the sides, you’ll appreciate the black cladding that runs from the fenders to the doors, a standard feature that adds a sporty touch. The 17-inch alloy wheels not only enhances ground clearance but also gives the Brezza a commanding presence on the road. Electrically adjustable ORVMs with integrated indicators provide added convenience.

Speaking of indicators, they’re cleverly integrated into the DRLs themselves, eliminating the need for a separate light. The rear of the Brezza has also received a facelift, with sharp and beautifully designed LED taillamps. The “Vitara” nameplate has been removed to make way for the return of the “Grand Vitara.” Below the badge, you’ll find the rear-view camera discreetly positioned. Moving downward, fiber bumpers with integrated parking sensors and reflectors complete the rear aesthetics. However, it’s worth noting that there is no powered tailgate feature.

Maruti Suzuki Brezza configurations: Interiors

Step inside, and you’ll be greeted by a dual-tone interior scheme that exudes a premium feel. The new digital instrument cluster features a MID display, electronic tripmeter, and a tachometer. The familiar 3-spoke steering wheel, also found in the XL6 and Ertiga.

Other safety features include Auto Hold, Engine Off button, Electronic Stability Control, two airbags ( six in the ZXI Plus variant), engine immobilizer, and a crash sensor. The ZXI Plus variant even boasts a Heads-Up Display. Entertainment and connectivity are well taken care of with a 7-inch Smart Play Pro+ touchscreen (or a 9-inch display in the ZXI Plus). While there’s no wireless charging pad, you can find one in the ZXI Plus variant.

Comfort and Space

Maruti Suzuki Brezza introduces its very first electric sunroof—a single pane sunroof that adds a touch of open-air freedom to your drives. The Brezza also features connected car technology with an onboard “Hi Suzuki” voice assistant. Though there isn’t a branded audio setup, the system has been finely tuned by Arkamys.

The cabin offers ample legroom and headspace, both in the front and rear. Thanks to the mild-hybrid’s battery location under the front seat, it prevents your feet from being pushed too far forward. Rear-row passengers will appreciate the generous legroom, making even taller individuals feel comfortable. However, it’s worth noting that power seats are not included, which could be a valuable addition. The 328 liters of boot space can be expanded further thanks to the 60:40 split rear seats, providing additional versatility.

Engine

The new Brezza retains the trusty 1.5-liter engine, but it’s been enhanced with the powerful K15C series, replacing the previous K15B series mild-hybrid engine. While horsepower is slightly lower, the new engine configuration incorporates dual fuel injectors. You can choose between a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic torque converter, complete with paddle shifters for a sportier driving experience.
