Hyundai has released the official teaser of its third generation Creta which is making the global debut at GIIAS 2021 Motorshow in the Indonesian market. The front has been redesigned that is inspired from the New Tucson unfortunately to give it a new refreshed look Hyundai removed the tri beam led headlamps setup that was in the Hyundai Creta and newly launched alcazar. But instead, it has been provided with rectangular headlamps incorporated with the led DRLS. Even it gets the refreshed grills which Hyundai calls parametric grille. These grills give the car a stylish look The rear profile is similar to the second generation Creta with a tweaked boot lid and sharpened taillamps.
Inside the cabin, we get the same 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster that is also seen on the newly launched Hyundai Alcazar https://youtu.be/9l4A1P00PSY with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment display. Also, the sound quality has been enhanced with, 8 bose sound speakers, new Creta is also expected to get the ventilated seat option which was also available in Creta SX (o). An upgrade in Creta is the electric parking brake, cooled glove box, ambient lighting, which is usually seen in premium cars. Apart from this, it gets wireless charging, a panoramic sunroof as well as an air purifier.
Talking about the performance and power, New Creta is powered by a 1.5-liter petrol engine with 115hp, 144Nm output for the Indonesian market but what comes in the Indian market is a big question but we hope the same engine option to be available in India spec Creta .including both NA petrol and diesel engine options and a turbo unit as well. The new Creta will also sport Advanced Driver Assist Systems (ADAS) that is seen in MG ASTOR also. And in terms of safety, it has features like lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control, and auto emergency braking. along with Blind Spot Collision Assist, Rear Cross Traffic Assist, Vehicle Stability Control, and Rear-View Monitor.
