German manufacturer BMW has unveiled its BMW XM which can be called a special edition because next year ie 2022 BMW’ M division turns 50, so for celebrating this special occasion, BMW unveils the second bespoke model in its history which is actually a second model after M1 supercar of 1978. Looking at the overall design, height, weight, it probably feels inspired from BMW X7, and as per experts, it is probably BMW X8.

Astonishing looks and design ?

On looking at the exteriors, it gives a futuristic look with a new reimagined and bigger kidney grille integrated with split led headlights setup with slim LED strips at the top. Even the rear profile looks quite exotic as it gets the sleek design-led taillamps . If you look closely you may feel like a vertical L has been placed which is actually good looking. One noteworthy feature that we find on the new XM concept is that the rear taillamps are blacked out when not illuminated which is something unique and not seen in any of the cars till now. For giving an hommage to the M1, a vast diffuser and a BMW roundel etched into the rear window have also been added. Separation has been made where to highlight the front as a sportier, more driver-focused area and the rear as the more luxurious “M Lounge”. And yes the car will be driven by massive 23-inch alloy wheels.

Power terrain

Since all the manufacturers have started their production line to electric, BMW has also decided to do so, although it is not new for BMW for electric vehicles as it already has i series which indicates electric vehicles like BMW i8, BMW i3, BMW ix, and more. But now BMW has taken a step further and introduced a new technology called PHEV and the new BMW XM is going to be the first SUV to get the same. The  Concept XM’s PHEV powertrain is the firm’s twin-turbocharged V8 engine that works on the single electric motor mated with 8-speed auto transmission and of course for fun it gets all-wheel drive, as per the experts the car generates an output of 750hp and 995Nm,
