Like CNG (Compressed Natural Gas), CBG can be used to power vehicles and engines. Unlike CNG, which is derived from petroleum sources, CBG is produced from the decomposition of organic matter such as agricultural waste, cow dung, sewage, and even municipal waste.

Through the decomposition process, the biogas shall undergo a refinement process to reduce the carbon dioxide content. Consequently increasing the methane content in the fuel to align it more closely with the composition of CNG.”
